A HUSBAND'S REVENGE. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Received 28, 10.5 p.m. Adelaide, November 2S. A sensational shooting affair has occurred here. A man named Knight, engaged on a steamer trading between Sydney and New Zealand, was married in New Zealand in August, and brought his wife to Sydney. Subsequently his wife disappeared. Knight states that he found her living with a man named Paton in Adelaide. Knight induced her to return to him. She again left him, and he traced her and Pa ton to Glenelg, where he contented them and, according; to Paton's story, fired two shots at him, narrowly missing. Paton returned to.his room to secure a revolver, and during his absence he heard three more shots. He found Mrs. Knight lying on the floor, bleeding from a severe wound. Knight has surrendered himself to the police.
