Vine's Coronet BUTTER-FAT COMPETITION. The results supplied to the Press on Thursday were, it appears, incorrectly worked out. The results are now announced to be:— Messrs. Ambury and Nowell's Polly (Hawera) 1 Mr. R. D. Harkness' entry (Ngaere) 2 Mr. F. W. Hammond's Violet (Hawera) 3 Ambury and Xowell's Polly gave from 2G to 28y;;lbs of milk at each milking, with a total of 214y 2 lb, butter-fat 8.77, and the total points 240.7. R. D. Harkhess' entry ranged l from 19 to 231b, total 109, and butter-fat 8.45. The third prize winner, F. W. Hammond's Violet, ranged from 131bs to 301bs, total 1811bs, butterfat 8.32, total points 22G.1. W. I. Lovelock's entry was fourth with the biggest milk yield of'the competition, 2G2lbs, butter-fat 7.86, and points 222.7. Fifth place was occupied by Newton King's entry, the second highest milk producer with 255y 2 lbs, butter-fat 7.65, and the result of 210.8 points.
