AX UNIQUE AND TERRIBLE FORCE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Ottawa, Xovember 25. Floods due to the loosening of the waters inside a huge glacier swept the Behring river valley. Miners' cabins were overwhelmed, and their fate is unknown. The river rose ten feet in four hours. Great icebergs were torn off the glacier. Two prospectors, named Smith and Wise, are missing, and a search has been organised. Icebergs swept down the river and carried ( off everything in their wild race downwards. THE FLOODS SUBSIDING. Received 28', 12.40 a.m. Ottawa, November 27. . The Behring river floods are subsiding. Searchers have not discovered any bodies, and deaths are believed to be few.
