SCOTCH EXPRESS DERAILED

A DOUBLE COLLISION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 27, 5.5 p.m. London, November 27. The Scotch express for Liverpool traversed Ormskirk at night at a speed of fifty miles an hour and dashed into an engine that was waiting at the cross points. Four carriages were derailed. Simultaneously the train from Liverpool collided with the derailed carriages, whereon a passenger was killed, and several injured. The driver of the express is missing, and it is supposed he is under the overturned engine. Another driver was injured about the head.
