In the Supreme Court this morning Elizabeth Gunn, waitress, claimed £2so' from 'Charles Wesley Hayes, traveller,: for breach of promise, and was allowed £4O and costs. BREACH OF CONTRACT. Dunedin, Friday. /, Mr. Jut ice Williams gave judgment toj day in the case of Price' Griffiths and CoJ of' Melbourne, v. the Southland Frozei Meat Co., in which the plaintiffs claimeq damages "for breach of contract. TJtt company had taken over one Thompson business and also a contract to dehvdj ■4OO ease* of tinned muton to the plainj tiffs. His Honor held that there lluj beeu a breach of contract, and defend ant was liable. Judgment was given |« the plaintiffs for £550 and costs. A
