The idea is to concentrate athletics under one governing bodv, and so save expense to clubs and societies. I have yet to learn that Canterbury has seeded from the Union. A few minor i: übs in Nortii Canterbury, dominated bv the remnants of the once prosperous League of Wheelmen, have decided to run unregistered meetings.
