FARM AND DAIRY
The Bell Block Dairy Factory is now turning out between 23 and 24 boxes of butter daily, an increase of over 4 boxes as compared with this time last year. On December Ist the cream from the Hillsborough factory will be manufactured at Bell Block, as the former factory is being converted into a creamery. Jersey fanciers will be interested to note that "Grannie's Girl" is now milking well up to >her form, and despite the fact that she has only two sound quarters is milking so freely that Mr. Luxton finds it necessary to milk her three times a, day. From "Grannie's Girl" and her half sister "Mammy" over 10 gallons of the lacteal fluid' are being received daily.
