A >, large quantity of timber from the dis- ? mantled huts is being stored in the hold, \ and to-mcrrow the remaining stores that are waiting to be dealt with in the Harbor Board's shed will receive the crew's \ attention. One side of the Harbor oJ Board's shed resembled an auction-room this morning. Numerous quantities of i cooking utensils and parts of chairs were ; lying in all directions, while large bundles of. clothes were being taken from cases* »'Ji and allotted to the shore parties. The '-3 garments to be worn by the crew of the |j Terra iNova and shore parties are made' ■§ of strong nierino. Each man on the shore staff is allotted fifty-nine assorted $ lots, while members of the ship's staff .jp will receive thirty-one. In all, the total -it 1 number of garments distributed will * t reach 2972. It is probable that the Terra 1 Nova will leave Lyttelton somewhat earlier on Saturday than was expected.
