PERSONAL.
The Hon. O. Samuel, M.L.C., returned to New Plymouth on Friday. Mr. W. Bigelow has been appointed secretary of the West End Bowling Club.
Mr. Bert Garry, who was for many years a member of the Military Band in New Plymouth, and now with West's Pictures, Christchurch, is on a holiday visit to town.
A Sydney cablegram states that Mr. Bell, manager of the North Coast Company, has been appointed managing director. He was formerly connected with the Union Steam Ship Company.
