Co. to-day cabled the following report on frozen meat:—Today's prices are: Mutton, Canterbury, 4y 4 ?d; Napier, Wellington nnd North Island, 3%d. Beef: Hinds, 3i4d; fores, 2%d. NOLAN AND CO.'S WEEKLY REPORT. Messrs. L. A. Nolan and Co. report, foi the week ending November 16, 1910: Poultry: On Saturday we had our pens well filled. Previous week's good prices were well maintained, and we would advise vendors to take advantage of prices ruling at present. Prices as follows: Hens, ordinary 2s Id to 2s Gd; cockerels, 2s Id to 4s lOd each; roosters, Is 9d to 3s Gd; ducks, to 2s 8d; ducklings, to 2s lOd; turkey gobblers, 7s 08. to.Bs 3d; turkey hens, os Gd to Gs 6d; geese, 3s to 3s M. In the mart a large catalogue of furniture and household sundries were sold at satisfactory rates. Fruit.—We are expecting, large consignments of gooseberries, cucumbers and tomatoes. Strawberries have arrived, and opened up in first class order. Wt quote strawberries Is to Is 3d; peas, 9d to lOd per peck; cabbages, 2s Gd per sack; lettuce, Is doz.
