In the mart a large catalogue of furniture and household sundries were sold at satisfactory rates. Fruit.—We are expecting, large consignments of gooseberries, cucumbers and tomatoes. Strawberries have arrived, and opened up in first class order. Wt quote strawberries Is to Is 3d; peas, 9d to lOd per peck; cabbages, 2s Gd per sack; lettuce, Is doz.
