PEOPLE'S DAY. By Telegrapn.—jrress Association. Wanganui, Last Night. Ideal weather prevailed for the people's day at the Wanganui Show. The attendance totalled 12,000 people. The show was a great success in every way. The following are additional championships:— Horses.—Draught stallion, J. W. Harding's Baron Graceful, with E. Short's Royal Treasure as reserve champion; draught mare, E. Short's Lady Graceful, and E. Short's Lady Alexander, as reserve champion. Thoroughbred: H. Good's Maniapoto; thoroughbred mare, H. B. Curtis' Largesse. ; Hack champion, M. Bennett's Royal Guard. Competitions resulted as follows: Hunters' jumping: J. R. McDonald's Betrayer, 1; Mrs. C. H. Hartley's Vendetta, 2; R. Morrison's Weary Bill, 3. Ladies driving: Mrs. J. Glasgow's Dandy, 1; Mrs. D. Bekker's Tommy, 2. Leaping: N. M. Patterson's Ha ere, 1; C. E. Levett's Reckless, 2; N. F. Moore's Loatefos, 3. Leaping for ladies: J. R. McDonald's Betrayer, 1; N. M. Peterson's Haere, 2; C. Gordon's Aberdeen, 3.
