THE LIST OF CHAMPIONSHIPS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. The Wanganui agricultural show opened to-day in beautiful weather. The entries are well up to past years', and the judges speak in complimentary terms of the quality of the exhibits. Fat stock and lambs, they say, are equal to anything seen in New Zealand. The following championships were awarded:— Cattle—Shorthorn bull, R. B. Hamilton; Polled Angus bull, C. G. Russell; Hereford bull, E. Short; cow, G. F. Moore; Holstein bull and cow, W. J. Lovelock; Ayrshire bull and cow, D. Buchanan; Jersey bull, P. J. Peterson; cow, R. J. Linn. Sheep.—Lincoln ram and ewe, W. H. Wyborne; Corriedale, John Gibson; ewe, Fernie Bros.; English Leicester ram, R. Bremner; ewe, S. R. Lancaster; Border Leicester; ram and ewe, Jas. Dowthwaite; Southdown ram and ewe, Ellis Bros.; Shropshire Down ram and ewe, J. R. Corrigan; Ryelands ram, C. G. Russell; ewe, Fred Moore. Pigs.—Berkshire boar and sow, J. H. Sellers; Yorkshire hoar and sow, P. J. Small.
