THE TERRA NOVA

VISITED BY LORD AND LADY ISLINGTON. By 1 Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. His Excellency the Governor and Lady Islington and suite proceeded to Lyttelton by the 10.55 a.m. train to-day to visit the Terra Nova at the port. They were m"t by Captain Scott, Lieut.. Evans and Mr. C. H. Meares and party. They then proceeded by launch to Quail Island. After inspecting the ponies and dogs, the return trip to the port was made and their Excellencies and suite lunched on board the Terra Nova with the officers of the ship. The Terra Nova, looking neat -and trim after her overhaul, was floated out of the dry dock shortly before 10 o'clock this morning, and was taken to a berth at the breastwork. To-morrow morning the vessel will start re-loading and will take in 100 tons of coal from one of the hulks.
