SPEECH BY DUKE OF CONNAUGHT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 14, 12.35 a.m. Capetown, November 13. The Duke of Cnnmuwht arrived at Victoria Falls, and thence proceeded to Livingstone, where he was received with a guard of honor of Barotse police. Replying to an address of welcome, the Duke paid a tribute to the pioneers of Empire who were reclaiming from the heart of Africa countries which had been closed to Europeans for hundreds of years.
