INTER-IMPERIAL TRADE
PREFERENCE'IN THE DOMINIONS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 13, 5.5 p.m. London, November 12. At the instance of Mr. Joseph Chamberlain, and in view of the holding of the Imperial Conference next year, the Tariff Commission is preparing a report based on the experience of leading business men regarding the working of preference granted by different over-seas dominions, also showing the lines whereon inter-Im-perial trade can best be developed by means of reciprocity.
A BOARD OF TRADE CIRCULAR. Received 13, 5.5 p.m. London, November 12. A Board of Trade circular recommends that representatives of British firms should communicate on arrival in overseas dominions with his Majesty's Trade Commissioners, and that the latter should give information as to local trade conditions, the names of suitable firms upon whom to call, and other similar matters.
