To the Editor. I Sir,—We licar a lot about the heavy) traffic on the Main South Road and which does most damage the horse waggons or the motor lorries with rub-| her tvves. Now, Sir, at the present i time there arc two motor lorries running with tyres oft' one of their back wheels, and one with the tyre off one front wheel, and all the weight is running on a flange about an inch wide. If they are going to run like that, I think it is time the County Council stepped in and raised the tolls according to the damage they are doing with the narrow tyres. —I am, etc.. j MAIN SOUTH ROAD.
