RIFLE SHOOTING
I The following team will reorient the Taranaki Rifles ra a match against the Guards on the local range on Thursday next, ranges 800, 900 and .1000 yards, seven shots at each range:—Captain Fletcher, Lieuts. Willis and Marett, Sergeant Davies, Corporals Reid aad Southam, Privates Blanchett and Marett. The following will represent the Taranaki Guards in their match against the Rifles at the Rewa Range to-morrow, 1 the shooting to be at the 800, dOO and 1000 yards ranges: Sergts. Oliver and Lobb, Corp. Bruce, Privates Riddles, Short, Nicholls, Hill and Johnson. The Guards will also send a team to Waitara to fire a match against tLe local volunteers. They are: Lieut. Bea- | die, Sergts. Evans and Arnold, and Privates Blanchard, Goodacre, Sadler, Sole and Bruce; emergency, Private Vale. Arrangements in connection with the annual meeting of the Taranaki Rifles' 1 Association will be made by the council at a meeting to be held shortly.
