ITS SUCCESS ON TRAMS. I By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. > The Chronicle will to-morrow publish a lengthy and comprehensive report from Mr. R. H. Beach, of the Federal Storage Battery Company, in reply to criticisms of Messrs Symington (Invercargill) and Crea'gh (Auckland) on the Edison storage battery tram cars. Mr. Beach's report covers several, columns, and meets every point raised'bv the colonial engineers, ft makes special reference to the proposed installations at Invercargill, Hastings and Wanganui, and emphatically afj firms that the success of battery cars for tramway purposes has been proved.
