We are to have a parade and inspection next Wednesday, when, I hope, all hands will turn up. Our local blacksmith has sold out, and is leaving us about the end of the month. This will be a big loss to i Oakura. j Mr. F. Aroa had the misfortune to I lose a valuable horse the other dav. Tie was riding the horse at a quiet i walk along the level road, when it! tripped and broke its hind leg above the j hock joint, and had to be shot.
