DISTRICT NEWS

WAIONGONA. (From Our Own Correspondent:) A good deal of dissatisfjift'on is felt throughout the district at wh-t are considered unnecessary delays and ''ungling on the part of those in charge of completing the creamery works. The directors of the local committee are to visit the site with a view to securing a speedy completion. Had this step been taken sooner, it is considered that a great saving of time and money would have been effected. Mr. A. Schrieber's house, at the top of the Davis road, is nearing completion. This will mean another supplier to the creamery. An epidemic of whooping-cough is going round the district, with the result that the school attendance is seriously affected.
