SECOND DAY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Pahnerston North, Last Night. Another glorious day favored the Manawatu A. and P. Association for its spring show, and the attendance was again large. In sheep, W. Perry, of Masterton, showed the champion Lincoln ram and reserve champion ewe, champion and reserve champion Komney Marsh rani; Tanner, champion and reserve champion Romney ewe; Bremer, Waveiiey, champion English Leicester ram, and S. R. Lancaster reserve champion. S. R. Lancaster also showed the champion English Leicester ewe, and Slack Bros, the reserve champion. The champion Border Leicester ewe waa shown by J. Douthwaite, Fordell. In Shropshires, Peter Cooper, Masterton, showed the champion, and H. D. Vavasour reserve champion. Nelson Bros, showed the champion Southdown ram and ewe. In cattle the champions were as follows: Shorthorn: Bull, W. Taylor, Te Awamutu; reserve, R. B. Hamilton, Patea. Cow: T. Williams, Pukehou, also reserve. Herefords: Bull, E. Short; reserve, C. A. J. Levett. Cow: F. Moore, Kai Iwi; also reserve. Ayrshire: Bull, Porirua Mental Hospital; reserve. J. Kvle, Aokautere. Cow: Slack Bros.; reserve, Porirua Mental Hospital. Jerseys: Bull, J. A. McCrea; reserve, W J. B. Paton, Lepperton. Cow: E. F gle, Belvedere; reserve, S. R. Lancaster. Holstein-Fresians: Bull, W. T. Lovelock, Aokautere; also reserve. Cow, Newton King; reserve, W. T. Lovelock. Horses were notable for the good display in draughts. Ponies and saddle horses were also to the fore.
