(From Our Own Correspondent.) Stratford, Last Night. At the annual meeting of the Stratford Gun Club the following officers were elected:—Patron and chairman of committee, Mr. W. P. Kirkwood; president, Mr. A. Stewart: vice-presidents. Messrs W. Lovett and I. Jury; committee, Messrs Y. Dunlop, W. J. Morrison, E. Kirkwood, H. Prebble, W. Kirkwood, H. Campbell, W. Da vies; secretary, Mr. G. D. Hunter; handicapper, Mr. W. D. Morrison. The conditions for the Nobel Cup were decided upon its follows:—Four competitions under scaled handicaps, best I three to count in aggregate, the cup to I become the property of any member winI ning it three times at intervals, and the winner to receive a gold medal each year. There is a report that, in connection with the appointment of the new hospital [ doctor the friendly societies are trying to arrange that the new medical man shall be the lodge doctor for the town. 60 far as I can gather, this is only being I talked over, and no steps have"as yet, I been taken by the lodges to call a nieet- ; ing to discuss the project. \ Lawn tennis is in full swing, and full advantage is being taken of the fine weather. There was a large attendance at the Stratford Club's courts this afternoon on the occasion of the opening of the season. The instillation of Rro. D.
