♦ n ABOUT HARBOR BOARDS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. , Westport, Last Night. Some local business men who have been taking a keen interest in the Harbor Amendment Bill now before Parliament, are asking whether the amendment moved by the Minister, ''That clause 16 be amended so as to prevent any person being elected a membiV.- of a harbor board who is manager or director of a company with over 20 members which has a contract exceeding £5 with a Board," applies only to elected members, and not to members such as, say, those comprising the Westport Harbor Board, all of whom are nominated hy the Government.
