He said the true motive was to allow the Federation to take over various businesses. It was not work for the national Parliament, and no doubt was intended to influence public officials to give all the billets to members of Labor Leagues. g Received midnight. Sydney, November 2.

Mr. Holman, • Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, says the Government contemplate the appointment of-a Royal Commission to enquire into the question of law reform, both civil and criminal. The poorer section have very great difficulty either in learning their rights or in enforcing them. A suggestion that the English Judicature Act be substituted for our own does not meet "with the Ministers approval.
