The prize for chain-: pion thoroughbred was gained by Caseley. SUNDAY SCHOOL CONVENTION. Palmerston North, Yesterday. The third Dominion Sunday School Convention in connection with the Methodist Church is being held in Palmerston North. There are about a hundred delegates present. The opening address was delivered by the Rev. C. H. Laws, president of the conference, and addresses of welcome were delivered by the Rev. G. W. Spence and G. Bennett. The conference will extend over the next two days.
