A MOST IMPORTANT STEP. By Telegraph—Press Association. Falmerston North, Last Night. At the afternoon session of the Dominion Sunday School Convention, Mr. T. Sims, of Wellington, read an interesting paper on Sunday School anniversary music. A keen discussion took place 011 tlie reading of the paper on the new graded lessons by Mr. A. H. lieed, of Dunedin, and after the schemt had been thoroughly explained, the conference resolved to recommend all schools within its jurisdiction to adopt the graded lessons. This is considered the most important step in Sunday Schooi history in New Zealand. Mr. F. Paine gave an exhibition of blackboard work, and ilr. L. Whittington of the use of the sand table and board, the practical demonstrations proving of great interest. The convention meets again tomorrow.
