THE ATHLETIC CLUB. A meeting of the Athletic Club was held at the club rooms 'last night, Mr. G. Cooper beincr in the chair. It was decided that the Tukapa ground be leased for the junior fixtures, and that the senior team's ftome ground be the Sports Ground. The election of club captain in place of Mr. T. R. Southall (resigned) resulted in E. A. Elliott being chosen. Messrs D. Bevan (senior) and E. Huse (junior) were elected delegates to the Association. The following team will play for Athletic on Thursday at Urenui:—GwilJim, Bevan. Cooper, Holdsworth, Barrie, Saunders. Huse, Mackay, G. Hooker, Stafford, Arthur; emergencies, J. Clark, W. Bui- . lock and W. Hedley. Athletic junior v. Xew Plymouth on the Tukapa ground:—Elliott", Robinson, Russell, Vale, Longstaff, Church, Rowe, Gleeson, Hreen, Coad, Hall; emergencies, Street and Hooker.
