The necessity for provision of a home for incurables has been urged by the Wairarapa Hospital and Charitable Aid Board for some months past, and tile secretary of the Board to-day read a letter from Mr. YV. C. Buchanan, M.P., offering to defray the cost of a home, to be built on the Greytown Hospital site and to contain sixteen beds for incurables and four beds for incurable consumptives. The chairman of Lhe Lioard has wired to Mr. Buchanan, thanking him for his magnificent oiler, and stating that it will be brought before the Board at next meeting.
