CATHOLICS A LIE TOU STiIONC. «v Cable —Pirns Association—Copyright. Received 21, I 0."0 p.m. London, October 21. The Times' special correspondent at Madrid says that the Republican coup d'etat will' only plunge Spain in civil war. The Catholics arc too strong to submit to the anti-religions faction. The Republicans are not forcing a crisis, and are willing to gain time by supporting the Premier, Senor Canalejas, whose position is delicate. The correspondent believes that King Alphonso will place the Throne in extreme jeopardy if he abandons Senor Oanalejaß and returns to the Conservatives.
