N.Z. FRUIT GROWERS
FEDERATION URGED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hastings, Last Night. At the Fruitgrowers' Conference,, the chairman, in a strong address, urged the federation of growers' associations in the Dominion so as to control the distribution and sale of fruits- both in their own interests and the interests of the consumer. It was essential that the markets should be regularly supplied, so that there would not be a glut in one place and scarcity in another. It was resolved that a federation be formed, to be called the New Zealand Fruitgrowers' Federation. The meeting proceeded to discuss the regulations drawn up to govern the Federation.
