A SYDENHAM CLUB
DEPUTATION TO MINISTER PROJECTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The report of Mr. Riddell, S.M., on the working and conduct of the Sydenham Workingmen's Club has been forwarded to the Minister (Hon. D. Buddo). In connection with certain parts of the report the Minister has written to the Club, requesting certain information, and the Club, considering that a personal interview would be of more practical use than correspondence, has arranged for a deputation from the club's officers to wait upon the Minister in Wellington on Saturday, when they hope to clear up certain what they call "misapprehensions," relating to the club mentioned in the repqrt.
