FURTHER EVIDENCE. BELLE ELMORE'S LIFE. Received 20, 1 ajn. London, October 19. During the trial of Crippen, Teresa Dunne, Belle Elmore's elder sister, from America, gave evidence that she saw a partly healed abdominal scar soon after Belle's marriage with Crippen in 1892, also seven years later. A witness named Miller said he met Belle in 1899 and admitted kissing her end writing and sending love and kisses to "Brown-eyes." Belle, not discouraged by these endearments, exchanged occasional letters with him since 1904. Cross-examined, he denied going to a bouse in Bloomsbury Square for the purpose of illicit relationship.
