NEW BRTDGE FOR WANGANUI. By Telegraph— Press Association. Wanganui, Last. Night. In connection with the proposed new bridge across the river, the Borough Council to-night adopted a design of one consisting of 105 feet spans, with reinforced concrete piers, at an estimated cost of £'23.00-0. The Council decided to ask the member for the district to have Wangamn included iu the proposed Water Power Bill. The opinion was expressed thai the Wanganui river or Mangawhero falls was very suitable as a source of power.
