To the Editor. ' Sir.—A thousand tlmnks tor' your ' leader to-day, "A Wild Scheme," oil' behalf of our settlers and backblock occupiers. It has been said, "'We are all mad at times." That our Government have evidently lost their reason just nowj should be evident to the smallest brain. Pray do urge n public protest through the constitutional method —a public meeting—at once. Governments, like individuals, should learn to walk before, taking to running.—l am, etc., "QUIZ." I
