A lengthy interview between King Alfonso and Senor Maura, the leader of the Conseravtive Party, is interpreted as evidence of a union between Conservatives and Liberals to combat revolutionary tactics. The revolutionaries have started a campaign of abuse against the Monarchists jn order to frustrate the alliance. The Madrid Bourse is low. FERRER DEMONSTRATION. London, Otcober 13. The police were warned that a Ferrer demonstration would be attempted in London, and found the pavement and steps of the Spanish Embassy chemically stained blood color. Madrid, October 13. All the Spanish troops are confined to barracks pending the {Ferrer demonstrations. DEMONSTRATIONS PASS OFF QUIETLY. WARSHIPS AND MILITARY MAKE BIG DISPLAY.
Received 14, 10.25 p.m. Madrid, October 14. Warships at Barcelona made a great display, as also did the military. The Ferrer demonstrations were peaceful and orderly. Similar reports are to hand from all other centres.
