A SERIOUS LOSS FOR SYDXEY. Hy Cable.—* Press Association.—Copyright. Sydney, October 14. Mr. Wade (Premier), referring to the reported change in the naval base, said that Sydney was threatened with very serious loss. Both business people and workmen would be sufferers. He urges the necessity of a strong effort to obtain the berthing of more vessels of the Commonwealth squadron at Sydney.
