Office of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington, 6th October, 1910. "DURSUANT to section 118 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified that a petition, in accordance with regulations, signed by not less that one-fourth of the electors of the area described in the Schedule hereto, has been presented to him, praying that the said area may ibe excluded from the Mangorei Road District, County of Taranaki, and included in the Borough of New Plymouth, and added to the East Ward of the said borough. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to, or petitions against, the proposed alteration within one month from the first publication of this.notice. Such objections or petitions are to be addressed and forwarded to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington. SCHEDULE. Area proposed to be excluded from the Mangorei Road District and to be included in the Borough of New Plymouth. All that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded towards the north-east and again towards the north by the present boundary of the Borough of New Plymouth from the north-eastern corner of*Section -1791 to the Henui River; thence towards the north, south-east and south by the said Henui River to the northern boundary of Section E, Town Belt; thence by the said northern boundary of 'Section E, 545.5 links, to the north-eastern corner of Subdivision 1 of the said Section E; thence towards the east and south generally by the eastern and southern boundaries of the said Subdivision 1, 2713.6 links, to Eliot Street; thence towards the west bv Eliot Street ot the soutli-western corjier of Section No. 1944;' and thence again towards the north and west generally by the present boundary of the Borough of New Plymouth to the place of commencement. : D.
