Sir William Ven Home has voluntarily resigned the chairmanship of the board of directors of the Canadian Pacific Railway, but still retrains on the board. Sir T. SCiangnessy has been re-elected president. The locomotive engineers on the Canadian-Pacific from Vancouver to Port William demand a substantia! increase in wages.
