The Commonwealth second-class cruisers will bear the names of "SydHey," ".Melbourne" and "Brisbane." The river class destroyers will be called "Torrens," "Swan" and "Derwent." The Admiralty advise that they are unable to grant the request of the battleship Commonwealth to visit Australia to receive the presentation of a challenge shield and service plate manufactured in 6ydney on the ground that the absence of the vessel will interfere with its training as a unit of the battle fleet.
