THE OSBORNE DECISION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. ' London, October 4. Mr. Enoch Edwards, in opening the conference of the Miners' Federation at Edinburgh, said that vhatever stepsother trades unions adopted with regard to the Oaborne decision, the Federation would support, but they preferred to do their own work untrammelled and unfettererl. The conference demanded a minimum of Los a week under the Compensation Act for all classes of adult labor. Siijice t<he Osborne decision was ,~iven two branches of the /boilermakers' and shipbuilSers' societies at Sunderland have endeavored to secure a voluntary levy for Parliamentary representation, but out of 690 members only sir subscriptions were received.
