In the House of Representatives the Postmaster-General stated that the Government had decided not to make any alteration ill the present Vancouver contract. Received October 0, 1 a.m. In the House o.f Representatives a Bill empowering Parliament to take over monopolies was read a first time, and the land tax debate was continued. WESTRALIAX PARLIAMENT. Perth, October 5. In the Assembly Mr. Wilson outlined the programme of the new Ministry. He would introduce a Constitution Amendment Bill extending the Assembly term from three to four years and abolishing the provision that a member accepting a portfolio must be re-elected. Mr. Soaddon, leader of the Opposition, moved a no-confidence motion, and the House adjourned.
