LAWYERS' CRITICISM. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright. London, September 29. At a meeting of the Law Society many speakers strongly criticised the Finance Act. Several advised waiting for a judge's interpretation of the clauses. Others deprecated approaching the measure in a hostile spirit and advised that clients 6hould be recommended to do their best to fill in the returns as required.
