CHAVEZ'S DEATH. By Cable—Press Association.—Copyright Paris, September 28. Chavez, who was injured by the fall of his aeroplane after crossing the Alps, died of general paralysis due to shock from his broken legs andi the cold and rarified atmosphere. He was in delirium and continually cried, "Still more snow, more glaciers, another *p eft k- Good God! It's frightful!" His prize of £2OOO arrived after his death.
