In Lancashire and Cheshire miners' associations have been formed to collect political levies hitherto paid to the Lancashire and Cheshire Miners' Federation. The Nottingham Miners' Association has followed the example of Lancashire and Cheshire, awaiting the restoration of the unfettered use of union funds.
