OBITUARY.
MR. JAMES BAYtY. At Waitara on Sunday the death occurred of Mr. James Bayly. Mv. Bayly was in his fifty-eighth year. He was born at Moturoa, and spent his early years there with his father, Mr. William Bayly, as a farmer. Thirty-seven years ago Mr. Bayly went to Waitara, and afteir some time ispent in general farming went into partnership with Mr. T. Elliott, of Waiitara, a partnership which existed' to the time of Ms death. Eventually both partners took up Mnd in the Awakino district and owned what is well known as the Pio Estate. Till about two years ago Mr. Bayly enjoyed good health. Mr. Bayly is survived by his widow, the Misses P. and C. Bayly, one son, Mr. Oscar Bayly, and a step-son, Mr. J. McNiece. MRS. MOYLE. Another of the very early settlers of this district passed away yesterday morning in the person of Mrs. Moyle, relict of the late Edward Moyle. The deceased, who wias 91 years of age, came out in the barque Essex, arriving on January 23, 1813. Mrs. Moyle had been ailing for some considerable tame past, and to her death came as a happy release. ,
