For purposes of comparison the tfoirespftni* ing figures for 1908-9 are appended in parentheses:— , Wheat—Acres 311,000 (252,391), yield per acre 28.24 (34.75), bushels, total yield 8.783,098 (8,772,790) bushels. Oats.—Acres 377,000 (408,908), yield, per acre 35.88 (46.46) ibushels, total yield 13,526,830 (18, 906,788) bußhete. Barley.—Acres 41,500 (48,853), yield per acre 29.58 (39.6) bushels, total yield 1,227,757 (1,938,452) bushels. Ryegrass.—Acres 56,550 (50,126), yield per acre in . bushels of 2Mb 27.37 (32.53) bushels, total yield 1,547,912 (1,630,615) bushels. Cocksfoot.—Acres 29,500 (32,707), yield per acre 175.77 (144.38) lb, total yield 5,185,310 (4,721,159) lib. Potatoes.—Acres 30,500 (29,919), yield per acre 6.31 (6.52) tons, total yield 192,484 (195,206 )tons.
