ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A FATAL FALL By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A -man named James Barron, appainterr r while working on a wall of the Princess Hotel, fell from the ladder, about Iff feet,, this afternoon. He struck the edge of a lean-to and fractured his skull. He was taken! to the hospital, where he died. Barron was about forty years of age.
A WOMAN'S DEATH. Wellington, Last Night. Teresa Sims, aged sixty-three, was found in a washhouse of her residence oik September 8 witih a broken legg, the result of a fall. After she was- taken tothe hospital she contracted acute bronchitis, wih'ich was followed by amputation of the fractured limb. The leg was amputated, but the bronchitis became worae, and the patient died this: morning. At the inquest a verdict wasreturned in accordance with the foregoing facts.
