A wooden panel was uneartlicl in Upper Egypt, inscribed with- thirty-five lines of Latin inscription. It is considered to be the finest in existence, except for the Pompiien text, and confirms Joaephus' narrative of the siege of Jerusalem by Vespasian Titus.
