carrixctox ROAD CLUB. r l he annual meeting of the Carrington Road Cricket Club wag held last evening. Mr. Fred. Robertson presided. The annual report congratulated tho Club on its success in tho past season, both on the field and financially. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of 14 Ss 2d, which was most satisfactory. With the material on hand the Club was in a very sound condition. The senior team was successful in annexing the championship and .the Robertson Cup. Owing no doubt to the alteration of the fixtures, the season was dosed before all the matches were finished. The incoming committee was recommended to instruct delegates to the Association to vote to have the rule adhered to governing fixtures for the coming season. This committee regretted having to record °* r - A- Ba yly, ft member of the Club and eldest son of the patron of the Club. In the representative teams the Club had been well represented, two of the members—Messrs. Perham and Southall—securing the batting and bowling averages respectively. Tho medala donated for competition were won by Mr. Fred Robertson for batting, Mr. Southall for bowling, and Mr. Perham for the most catches. Mr. Benbow was awarded the medal for 'best all-round .player. The incoming committee is recommended to deal with the junior teams with regard to the unsatisfactory manner m which their subscriptions come in. The best thanks of the Club are due to Messrs. It was decided to form a cricket dub, T»f k . n ?, W7l . as "Law Cricket Club." lhe following officers were elected: "resident, Mr. J H. Quilliam; vice-pres-ulents, Messrs. G. Grey and A. H. Johnstone; captain, Mr. E. Lash; secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. K. Turnbull; auditor, Mr. S. Cottier; committee, Messrs. Bewlev, Elliott, and Hill, with officers ex officio; selection committee, Messrs. Lash and Elliott; delegate to association, Mr. Turnbull.

The subscription was fixed at £1 for the season; players under 19 years, 10s. It was decided to affiliate with, the 0.1 T|,ranaki Cricket Association, and to enter one team in the Saturday competition.
