Mr, A. MoncviefT Finlayson, who left New Zealand in 1908 as exhibition (1851) science scholar in geology, has completed his scholarship and gained the degree of Doctor of Science (London). He is now on his way from London to Rangoon, to take up an appointment as petroleum, geologist on the Burma oilfields.
